Born in Duisburg in 1974, Dr. Kostja von Keitz studied law in Düsseldorf. He received his doctorate in European nature conservation and national administrative procedural law in 2005, with a thesis on the subject of “The Legal Protection of Private Individuals against Special Areas of Conservation”.

He began his career as a lawyer in 2005, working initially for a major international law firm. Dr. von Keitz became a specialist in administrative law 2008 and joined ZENK in 2009. Furthermore he has been a trained mediator since 2014.

Dr. von Keitz is partner with ZENK.

Dr. von Keitz’s practice focuses on real estate development, construction planning and sectoral planning. He advises and supports residential and commercial entities and assists project sponsors and local authorities in drawing up development plans.

Dr. Kostja von Keitz is a member of the German Society for Environmental Law (GfU), the German Bar Association’s working group on administrative law and speaker for the Berlin Bar Association’s working group on administrative law. He is deputy chairman of the Federal Court of the German Football Association (DFB).
