Christiane Huismans, born in 1966 in Telgte (Westphalia), studied law in Münster following her banking apprenticeship in Bremen and has been working as a lawyer since 1996. Since 2017, she has been offering support in conflict situations as a mediator.

Due to her many years of experience as a lawyer in insolvency administrator law firms, on the side of intensive support of the credit industry as well as in large international law firms, Christiane Huismans has distinctive knowledge and experience from very different perspectives, especially in insolvency and restructuring law. In the context of distressed M&A, she advises buyers on purchases out of insolvency, represents national and international creditors in the insolvency of a business partner, advises corporate bodies in connection with questions regarding the filing of insolvency applications and deals with the enforcement or defense of insolvency avoidance and insolvency liability claims.
In addition, Christiane Huismans specializes in real estate business law. In addition to negotiating commercial leases, this includes assisting sellers or buyers in real estate transactions and restructuring commercial real estate.
